“A large number of our customers are complaining about the nightmare of cabling and losing screws with external gears they are adding aside their analyzers.” says Nick G., a product manager at OROS. “That’s what drove the development of an expander module, the Xpod, directly clipped on the side of the analyzer” he adds. This external box includes signal conditioning inputs (e.g. strain gages) which brings the flexibility offered by other independent devices with more portability and exchangeable slots.
The new version of the analyzer offers the ability to turn the instrument into a stand-alone recorder, the D-rec (direct recorder). Thanks to a redesigned front panel, you can now set-up, operate and control your measurement in the harshest environment not suitable for a PC. In addition, the 60 GB removable and USB wired hard drive gives you the capacity and flexibility you need for this type of measurement.
OROS instruments can be complemented with CAN bus interface able to acquire data from a unique wire in a car or energy machinery. This latest generation of instrument is the right choice for noise and vibration measurement, used for maintenance, tests and qualification.
