Ad Placement
Advertising space is available on almost every page of SVcommunity.com in the form of a horizontal banner on the upper right and a vertical banner at the extreme right of each page. Advertisers may place ads on all pages of the site or if you want to target a specific audience, you may place an ad on a specific page. For example, if you are a maker of accelerometers, you may want to advertise in the vibration analyzer section of the Buyer's Guide.
The Sharing Process
Each advertising location is shared among all advertisers participating in that location by way of rotating banner ads. Each time the webpage is refreshed (by first opening or clicking the browser refresh), the banner is changed. The selection of which advertiser's banner is displayed is randomized but controlled by the ratio of the ad space purchased by the particular advertiser relative to the total purchased by all advertisers.
Ad Prices
There is no fixed price for ad space. Advertisers may choose whatever amount they like from as little as $1. If no other advertiser participates in a particular ad space then $1 buys 100% of the ad space. But if other advertisers purchase a total of $100 and you purchase $1, your ad will only appear 1% of the time.
Who is allowed to advertise?

How do I place ads? Once you have been given a login ID and password, you may log onto a special section of the site reserved for Sponsors and submit and edit your information yourself.
